This is a Bible journaling entry I did 4 years ago as part of the Illustrated Faith Revival camp. I did a play on words and used the bear from the kit to represent love “bears” all things. 😁
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

I wrote this poem 11 years ago for a contest that K-LOVE radio was having. I created a video to read and post to YouTube. You can see the video at the end of this post.
You ask me “Why Jesus?”
So here is my story
To thank him for what he’s done for me
And give him all the glory
I came before the Lord, broken & ashamed
My sins had made me dirty & left a crimson stain
But God in his infinite love already had a plan
To send his son to die on the cross
And save the souls of man
He welcomed me with open arms
And cleansed me, white as snow
His spirit is now within me
Wherever I may go
I found his promises are true
And his love will never cease
He is our counselor, mighty God

This is a card I created last year. I was inspired by one of the members of the Happy Planner community to color in the tissue paper from the Little Bloom Box (no longer available) with mild liners. Then I used these Fun Alphabet stickers to spell out the quote. I love how it turned out. 😁
Art shouldn’t be about training or materials or the ability to afford expensive paints or fancy schools. it should be about making something out of nothing.
