“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Bible memorydex card I made 3 years ago using patterned paper from a Tim Holtz scrapbook paper pad. I typed up the verse on regular printer paper & cut it up into strips to fit on the card! 😁
I joined a Bible study yesterday from Proverbs 31 OBS and we are reading the devotional Fighting Words by Ellie Holcomb and each week we will have a memory verse.
So for this weeks verse which is quite long, I
decided to try this tip that I learned from
Coffee and Bible Time and how to memorize
longer passages of scripture.
To do this, I’m using this prescription card from By The Well For God where I printed off the 1st letter of each word of the verse on the front side and I put the full verse on the back. 😁
I’ve included the links to the book, Bible study and the video where I learned the memorization tip. I can’t find the specific journaling cards I used but I went ahead and linked their shop if you want to check any of them out. 😁

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3;16, NKJV
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV)
