Smokey Mountain Terror event in Kingsport, Tennessee

My friend and I made a trip from West Virginia to Kingsport, Tennessee for the Smokey Mountain Terror convention. We drove down on Friday, Spent at least 5 hours at the event and then came back to the hotel after stopping to get something for dinner. We are scheduled to come back home tomorrow, Sunday afternoon.

I had a blast and I’m am still in 7th heaven. I got to meet Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner and Silas Weir Mitchel from Grimm, but I was only able to get a picture and autograph from Sasha.

I couldn’t help myself but I took a picture in front of Sasha’s booth

I didn’t get to talk to Erick Roberts officially but he walked past my friend and me while we were near one of the vendors. I made eye contact with him and smiled and he tapped me on my shoulder as he walked by. 😁

My friend got to meet and talk to Mark Dacascos from the Double Dragon movie, The Crow TV series and several martial arts movies. He was really nice

Pictures from my trip to NYC to see Grease on Broadway 14 years ago

Here’s a slideshow with pictures from my trip to NYC to see Grease on Broadway 14 years ago. The guy that played Danny was from WV & that’s how I got to see them perform. His name was Derek Keeling and unfortunately he passed away several years ago.

Town of Bramwell, WV Ghost Walk #tbt

The organization that I work for hosts a Ghost Walk through the historical town of Bramwell, WV & I got to attend 2 of the walks in 2009 & 2015. The first time I went was with my best friend’s mom, because my friend was sick and couldn’t go. So her mom went in her place. Then I got a chance to go again in 2015, this time with my best friend. I had a lot of pictures to share, so I created 2 slideshows from both walks.

The tickets sold for the ghost walk benefited the Children’s Home Society of WV We Can mentoring program and the town of Bramwell

11th grade trip to Europe #fbf

These pictures came up in my memories today from a slideshow that I shared 6 years ago from my trip to Europe in the 11th grade. I got to go with some classmates as part of history class and we visited Paris, London and Madrid in the span of 10 days. It was a lot of fun and I hope to go back someday. 😁

Busy weekend ahead

My birthday is officially not until Monday, but I’ll be starting early… tomorrow to be exact.

My friend, Susan, her mom, Trudy and I will be going on a 2 hour trip to the Town of Bramwell (WV) for a Ghost walk. This is the 2nd year they’ve had one, and I get the chance to go. I think it will be a lot of fun. Click on the link below for the official press release from the Children’s Home Society’s website on their upcoming events page. There are pictures as well, which I think is very cool. I can’t wait.

On Sunday, I’ll be going to dinner with my family to Olive Garden… can’t wait. It’s one of my favorite restaurants… also my suggestion. 🙂

Then, I’m taking off on Monday – my official b-day – and going first thing in the morning to the DMV to get my driver’s license renewed. Yay!! Then, after I come home I’ll need to call the maintenance men for my apartment building to come and look at my heater… I’ve been freezing at night and I can’t get my heat to come on. I think the pilot light might be out, but I can’t get the door off the unit to check. Plus, I’d rather have them do it for me, just to be on the safe side. 🙂

I’ll be updating later with pictures and such.
