I joined a Bible study yesterday from Proverbs 31 OBS and we are reading the devotional Fighting Words by Ellie Holcomb and each week we will have a memory verse.
So for this weeks verse which is quite long, I decided to try this tip that I learned from Coffee and Bible Time and how to memorize longer passages of scripture.
To do this, I’m using this prescription card from By The Well For God where I printed off the 1st letter of each word of the verse on the front side and I put the full verse on the back. 😁
I’ve included the links to the book, Bible study and the video where I learned the memorization tip. I can’t find the specific journaling cards I used but I went ahead and linked their shop if you want to check any of them out. 😁
Love this Bible journaling page I did 3 years ago in my art journal
I used scrapbook paper on the left side and a stencil to write out the verse from Song of Solomon It’s supposed to be chapter 2 verses 11-12 but I left off the 2. So I had to add it before the book title 🤦🏻♀️😂
I have been under a lot of stress and anxiety dealing with multiple trials lately. Just one thing after another. Then after I saw this crown in this retro vellum bojo book from Obujo, I knew I had to use it somehow in my Bible journaling. So I decided to create my first entry in my new NIV Journal the Word New Testament pocket journaling Bible.
I also used 2 different colored packaging papers I had saved and some alpha stickers from by the well 4 god
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:12 NIV
A Bible journaling card I did this evening using scrapbook paper from the rainbow inks paper pad from Michaels stores and some metallic stickers from dollar tree the alpha stickers are from By the Well 4 God 😁
