My dad passed away a month after I started working for the Children’s Home Society of WV in 2007 and that’s when I found out that he was adopted through the agency, along with my aunt.

Children’s Home Society of West Virginia cares for West Virginia’s neediest children every day through our emergency child shelters, foster homes and multiple community base service programs. The fear and uncertainty these children face in their lives existed well before the pandemic and will continue once the rest of us get back to some sense of normalcy.
